I think people of all ages can agree that at a high level it feels like this world is split between Millennials and everyone else. When did it happen? When did everything change so dramatically in how people see business and the world ?

I'm a man in my early forties. I have two sisters in their twenties. I feel for them. It's dramatically harder to make a base level of comfortable income anymore, unless you're highly skilled or connected.
It's also difficult to maintain a work ethic when you feel little hope that privileges enjoyed by those before them will become more accessible. Home ownership, Retirement, etc.
Generalizing is usually a recipe for disaster. I agree with the person talking work ethic and see that at all ages as well as the opposite. However, it does seem that millennials have work ethic issues more often than others due to helicopter parents and participation trophies. You have to earn what you get in real life.

I think it boils down to two words….
Work ethic
As a hiring manager, I find it a mixed bag and not so much generational.
I see great, and not so great examples of work ethic across all generations.
People realize the oldest millennials are now in their 40s with kids right?
Wrong, it's split between rich and poor, everything else is just a distraction and get us at each other's throat (divide and conquer).
