I feel Nike made a grave mistake when it didn't promote a long time insider to CEO. JD is a smarmy milquetoast with duplicious intent who will run this company into the ground for short term gain. Unfortunately, PK is too old to come out of retirement and save the company like he did after the Bill Perez debacle.
I think we should get our next CEO from NikeTech. They know our biz.
JD has a love for his bank account ( see recent Proxy Statement). His reputation since his early beginnings at Bain are dismal. Get ahead at any cost.. not a supporter of diversity in the workplace. Watch his online video speaking to NBA students. Be sure to have a “ ba-f bag” close at hand! This guy is a phony and has his own self interest in mind. Sad for the Nike Culture! It’s gone!
Maybe not exactly BRS material, but he has finished what MP started and brought the stock to it's GRATEST new high, and that is all that matters.
If you pull up all the Insider Trades since 1/20, they are all sales, because the SP price surges higher.
