If you thought machines were sold into the wrong environments in the past, just wait! Salespeople are now being told what to sell, and are being told if they don't close the sale they risk losing their job. Ethics is out the window. They will lie about a machines capabilities, sell used equipment as new, and disregard all specifications to make the sale. This is not just a theory I have. This is fact. I see it almost every day now.

calling it now, there will be shady bookkeeping in 2021 to hit #s, leading to stock crash and more layoffs. C.I. dodges all responsibility as he cashes out before s hits the fan.
Working at xerox isn’t a job. It’s a Nightmare now. All you care about are numbers. Selling is one thing. Lying to people and exaggerating about equipment is another. Sure……we can fix it in the field. Ship it. 〽️ It’ll be fine I’m sure. Get a conscious, it’s time.
Uhhhhhh. Isn’t that your job? Sell?!? And if you don’t do your job you risk losing your job?!?
What a piece of work. Just wait until someone pulls the rug out from under you. It’s out there. Just a reminder. 22
Hahaha, false narrative! You have no idea! You must be one of those sales people trying to downplay the situation. As far as demos, there are few demo centers remaining and few analysts to support demo's. The job of an analyst now is to try to resolve all the issues that occur when a customer is sold equipment that doesn't live up to what was promised.
Everyone is an expert now. You can’t tell or warn people of anything anymore.
I have seen and set up machines that the customers have been told false claims. Once they sign the paperwork it’s ironclad. Good luck. Your done.
Zero ethics or conscious today.
But make sure to complete your annual ethics 101 training before September 1.
Gotta love these creeps. Truly incredible.
I was a colour analyst in Canada and it was our job in demos to readjust what sales in light of, well, the truth. Sales doesn't know the specs that much after all. Sales people getting told to sell at the risk of their job is normal. That's their job. Sell. What is abnormal here is the lack of oversight, at least in the production world. Don't you have analysts attending sales demos for production machines?
- S. Nice try bud to create a false narrative.
