My advice is to simply talk to a few current Truist employees “off the record” before you leave your current job. I think the more employees you talk to, the more a common theme will emerge.
My opinion is this. The two heritage banks had polar opposite cultures, which
predictably led to an environment of distrust and poor communication. Layered on top of this mess are the ongoing layoffs, which combined with the climate of distrust, has created a truly toxic, and quite frankly, miserable work environment. This lack of teamwork has impacted system integration and client service, and dealing with the increasing client dissatisfaction has added even additional stress to the workday.
I guess what I am trying to say is in my opinion any WFH “issues” will quickly become the least of your concerns at Truist.
