There are a lot of merger related changes happening that weekend.
The TMP (that stands for Truist Merger Program and is the team of folks running the project) is willing to implement with many open issues. They deal in checking boxes, not reality.
Some changes have already taken place. The first week of August, there were more than 5 thousand clients that were able to see other clients’ data in Truist Mobile. Legal had to get involved. They were able to keep that incident hush-hush for the most part. I expect October 11th to be much worse.
Hopefully the TMP, and Enterprise Technology Executive Senior Leadership (mostly hSTI folks) will take responsibility for the issues to come, but given their nature, they will likely try to divert to subordinates. Most all of the technicians working on the merger see it as failure so far. It truly is an unorganized mess.
