Why why WHY!???

Why do yal stress out over this job so much?
I hate seeing my vz homies miserable. I get it, we took massive pay cuts, deal with Karen’s and Chad’s on a daily basis, and have a point of sale system from the 70s but bruh, this job is EASY. We literally get paid to push a button and roll the dice to see if it goes our way. Quit going above and beyond for this weak a$$ paycheck.

Got a queue full of 20 ppl? 🤷‍♂️ Oh well, they can wait. Is it lunch time? F*ck it, clock out and go get yourself a breather. Use all your vacay.

Please quit stressing yourselves to death. Verizon needs us more than we need them.

What sucked for me was always wanting to be at the top AND wanting a fat a$$ commission check. Those days are long gone. If Verizon wants to pay like 💩 then just do the bare minimum. It’s not worth the stress.

I had written like 3 paragraphs about how this place sucks, how my micro managing DM sucks, new Director sucks and the new gestapo VP sucks but you all already know this. When the corporate stooges from DM and above come to the realization that you completely lost everyone on the store level, and no mr. DM you are not on our level just because you come in and try to chum it up with our staff doesn't make you one of us, just look at our smiles…fake as fake can be!!

To the CEO and the corporate “YES” men and women that are beneath you…You have failed us!! You have failed the customers!! If this was your overall agenda than you have succeeded!! You have succeeded in making Verizon one of the worst places to work and one of the worst places to shop. You corp stooges do realize that you are burying this company and customers are leaving in flocks to T-Mobile?

This company and this board is like a bad dream, you know one of those dreams where you are trying to get through to someone but they aren't listening or acknowledging you. We aren't listened to and we aren't valued as employees!! All you are worried about is your precious pulse survey, you know the survey where you have brain washed and manipulated every frontline employee to not give a bad survey because it will affect the store manager, you know the manager who is in the sh-t with us!! Its so pathetic that frontline employees have to resort to posting on this board instead of on the survey because the company has to pass off the blame onto the store manager.

So after reading topic after topic, post after post it is all the same message, so heres where rubber meets road, the frontline employees are unifying, we are all coming together as “ONE TEAM” as you stooges so call it…we are going to be on the same page as you…you want to bury the company, well we do too!! We will just get to 50% to unlock a paycheck and manipulate RIS by telling customers to give us a 10, other than that we will do as little as possible to keep our sanity.

When systems don't work, we will say “betcha T-Mobiles systems work”

When we have to push people away or make them an appointment because of lack of staff, we will say “betcha T-Mobile has enough staff to help”

When customers ask “what promotions do you have” we will say “betcha T-Mobile has great promotions”

You wanna bury it….we will bury it!!

Better pay = happier employee = more productivity/ profits = happy shareholders

💩 pay = disgruntled employee = 💩 service & customer experience = no profitable

This team commission took away all the desire & motivation to sell from the heavy hitters. Now we all just watch the clock until it’s our time to leave

If you remember how commission used to be, they want you gone. In reality if you’re making around 20/hr + group commission it’s actually not bad pay. Of course if you made 2-4K commish in the past you’ll think it’s trash. But let’s be real, you were overpaid and that’s why the pay structure changed.

Some people LOVE the company and also the work. Why are we treated like filth? They need to realize they have a work force that loves them unconditionally. Right now they treat me like a yucky spider. It’s MEAN. can they please recognize we are even happy with team commission if they treat us like human beings instead of dogs? One of my co workers is a veteran and the way they speak to him so absolutely disgusting. He performs. He is someone with value. He matters. This has gone on long enough.

No better time to leave. Job market is hopping for stuff that pays more than Verizon and let's you keep your dignity.

As opposed to staying here in a market getting bad talked behind closed doors by a CVP in Denver constantly. Heard it multiple times. Employees need to be appreciative and suck it up.

All these years people gamed commissions to make the best check possible but you mo--ns still don't realize that the bulk of pay is from your hourly and just helping customers. You used to burn through a whole Que to get that Add and snake your coworkers but you can't ever tell that the new pay out is hourly x Surveys? It doesn't make a dam difference if I help 10 customers a day or 3. As long as you earn that 10. Super unrewarding job, but I'm sure just as you can't figure it out you aren't planning your exit.
