Had a meeting yesterday where they skirted direct questions on the 3/2 format and hedged with "well it may be rolling days" or "we will have to take it week by week" - anyone with kids, dogs, repair people etc knows scheduling does not work this way. It will be useless and frustrating - we aren't requesting flexibility to just stay home - it helps bring some balance to life and in some cases savings in our monthly budgets. Leave it to WF to sc--w up what could boost morale.

You schedule your repairs and your dentist on your flexible days.
@rql so 1 person per team gets to be full-time WFH while the rest see that as the carrot to perform better?
No way that would work.
I’m hearing those rated 4 and 5 can wfh full time
I'm sure what 3 days in and what 2 days telecommute will be dictated to everyone like everything else is. The execs and their minions will retain their flexibility and special privileges though.
"Be professional adults" would make it so much easier on everyone.
Those who can't be professional, show them the door.
I like the model of "be professional adults"... You should know what your work responsibilities are and how to be flexible around those.
I'm sure your boss will let you wfh when you are expecting a repair person. Otherwise you'll have to burn PTO on this kind of thing like the rest of us :(
Well, they did say "up to" x number of days remote.
