Seems like we’re far away from going back to office in North America, but wondering everybody else’s thoughts on whether or not they think the O will mandate vaccines like some of the FAANG companies…

I'm willing to bet that there will be no vaccine mandate. That would take a small amount of coordination in the Oracle management and I just can't see how they could get it together long enough to make any kind of decision like that, and to actually implement it.
If they make a decision to do that, there will be no real checking on anyone. It will be one of those stupid useless directives. They will have everyone go to some website and check a box that they are vaccinated, but they won't check on anything. They have found it's cheaper to just put the responsibility on the employees. Oh, you say you're vaccinated.... well that's good enough for us. No work to do here.
The only mandate is that you have at least one arm and hand so that if the gods bless you with a mgmt role, you'll have the toolset necessary for your only purpose, which will be full participation in the neverending mgmt exclusive circle jurk party.

But with attrition rates so high, there are no rumours. No one has even asked, when do the September layoffs start! :-)
