I just talked to a member of upper management and they are going to offer a 15% pay bump to everyone that will get the covid vaccine. What a great way to get everyone on the same page. This will ensure the safety of everyone. Great idea! Finally!

It's better than a forbes cut-n-paste article.
Makes people think and laugh for a change.
Opposite of the workday.
I'd take the robot dr-g too for a better gas discount.

Why would they give salary increase (which would be permanent and effective for future years), for people who get the vaccine ? That doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. A one-off payment (e.g. $100) would be more believable, but still unlikely.
The most likely approach is for them to introduce a policy that all in-office staff must be vaccinated and then to remove any options to work remotely. Then if you refuse the vaccine, you’re effectively resigning.
Whoever told you that is a F’n liar. If you paid attention to the recent negotiations with the unions and the fact no raises will be given this year to supervisors, you’d see that ain’t gonna happen
They are not going to bump anything. Most of you will be lucky to keep your job if you show up every day and don’t get that vaccine.

It just no but he-l no. Without politicizing things, a 15% bump is not feasible or in the best interest of the balance sheet tsar so many already criticized the board for
It would not be beyond EM to misunderstand circumstances and make mistakes.
This kind of vax policy would put DW in the Polunsky Unit.
Not saying he doesn't deserve Polunsky in any case, but in this specific Freedumb area, you don't step on Abbotoir toe or thumb or wherever there is feeling.
Just saying. Don't mess.
Not believable for campus. The place is moving backwards.
This does NOT apply to employees based or residing in the Lone Star state.
So don't get all whoop-de-doo.
It would simply be against the Law down heah.
I heard that the vaccination based pay bump is of the "order of the magnitude" "53.476%." OP please recheck your source.
The Permian gets the 15% CCP jab bump buy only applicable to VP and above or if you participate in the Annual Women's Day Engineering Program.
I was told the same thing bit it only applies to Darren Woods and his direct reports.
LOL
can anyone help me out? What is 15% of nothing? Thanks in advance.
Someone’s dreaming
That would really reinforce XOM’s stance towards the pandemic and really solidify its response and frankly set a precedence for other companies to follow. XOM once again stepping up when it really needs to.
Personally I think this is a great idea. Most of the lower level employees are more likely to be anti-vax and maybe this will persuade them to do their part. This will ensure that when they come to the campus for meetings they won't infect those of us that keep the company moving forward. I applaud this idea. Bravo!! Exxon Bravo!
I also heard that the employees in the Permian will not qualify since they are already getting a premium. But, on the bright side, we have really great jobs for a great company with great benefits!!!! XOM 4 LIFE!!!!
I was told the same thing by one of the SSHE department supervisors but they said it was going to only be for field personnel. Basically techs. No management will qualify for the bump. Maybe someone else will verify.
