Stress and overwhelmed

Any other stores experiencing employees having mental break downs from a combination of everything happening in our stores? I’ve had multiple employees quit, have to take the day off and leave early due to stress.

Had to take today off because my mother was in the hospital at 4 AM and I had to care for her. I had tried to switch the shift previously because I wanted to visit my grandfather who doesn’t have much time left. The former didn’t allow me to do the latter, and on top of this, my manager had the gall to tell me it seemed like a coincidence that I took today off. I tried to be kind and “Earn the Right”, but I just don’t care anymore. Why give respect to a company that shows little respect for me?

Yal I went through this phase recently. I’ve learned not to let it stress me out as much . If the system is acting crazy, I try 2 times to process whatever needs to be processed, if it doesn’t work by then, I tell the customer , “I’m so sorry but my system isn’t allowing me to complete the transaction, I’d hate to keep you here all day so here’s the telesales/customer care #, call them and they can complete it”

Then on to the next one. This job doesn’t pay me enough to get stressed out and have mental breakdowns.

It does suck our system makes us look like complete a$$hats but it is what it is.

Don’t worry our fearless leader from Kohl’s and Sears Roebuck will lead us through this. Just another oblivious leader. This is as bad as it gets.

We had a rep today throw his tablet in the garbage and after he got a 4 on the survey saying “ they didn’t have the phone in stock”(not his fault) he left before his shift ended. And , he’s not even an asst mgr. Didn’t tell anyone he was leaving quit or just left no one knows.

Just imagine how many on the job drunk alcoholics this company has created. I work with one now.

Yes every day is a mental struggle. After dealing with system issues for about 4 hours I am mentally drained. By the time 5 rolls around I am contemplating quitting and just walking out the door. By the time I get home I feel defeated mentally and physically. Every day is a struggle. Every minute another system issue. Its getting old. We're all burned out. We don't have any fu--s left to give.
