Can somebody tell me what's the point of constant reorgs? We've had how many in the past five years? Has any one of them done us any good? Let's be honest, it's just pointless shuffling and reshuffling done to justify the endless reductions in force. There is no big vision or plan here, there's just an alibi.

All you cynics will be amazed how Agile our CEO will be in Congress.
You can swat a fly, but not a gnat!
I think management is having too much free time and got nothing to write for their PDS.
It’s called “Churn”. Respect the “Churn”.

Please don't interrupt our focus on realigning our business during these trying times. We have to schedule a pre-meeting to discuss the meeting we are going to have soon. All hands should be involved in color selection of the latest fonts for the new team.
Management needs something to put o their review
That’s one of the first signs the company is not performing well and is trying to figure out how to survive. Good luck
@aul - I kind of agree with you, but it doesn’t have to be successful (obviously, otherwise it wouldn’t happen so frequently).
It is sometimes the only “achievement” that a senior manager can put on their performance review (along with attending hundreds of pointless meetings). The interesting thing is when you see a reorganisation that effectively reverses the last one, and you ask senior managers “So, does that mean that the last one was a mistake ?”, the stock response is “No - that was the circuit decision at the time”.
In other words, successive managers have to protect themselves by covering up for the mistakes of their predecessors. Total corruption and incompetence.
Successful reorg = an entry on PDS
