Wells Fargo CISO (https://www.linkedin.com/in/klieber/) was terminated/fired... No where to be found in the system... Not even "zz" in the GAL... Just... Gone...
That didn't last long... I'm starting to think SVB is the problem...

The CISO revolving door at Wells Fargo strikes again,, now the news is that the interim CISO is now leaving!!!! Maybe Wells Fargo needs to look at why this seems to be a job nobody wants!!!

Some of the folks KL hired from CVS are actually very smart folks. I hope some of them stay but it's likely they will follow him wherever he goes.

I'm guessing conflict of interests. I was talking to some health CISOs. He is somewhat (in)famous for pushing Gurical wherever he goes. Advises some incubator startup incubator. Hmm.
Hopefully it's open season on the CVS post turtles. Would be nice to have some leadership around here. I guess we'll wait for the inevitable mega breach.

SVB portrays gross incompetence. He’s not a detail guy, and has no hands-on development background. Just another example of a washed-up leader at Wells, and he needs to go back to wearing wooden shoes and watching windmills. As to Lieber, and Owen before him…no real thought leadership, and his inability to have any fresh ideas of his own outdid him.

Typical awkward language, not proofread by anyone with a decent English education. The above sentence means "We had no other choice but to announce..." whereas the intent was "We had no other choice but to fire Kurt Lieber, and today we announced that."
It’s official. It’s in newspapers now. Rich Baich, Gary Owen and now Kurt Lieber. 7 years to 2 years to less than 1 year. Saul doesn’t seem to be able to hold on to his CISOs.
Ciso should not report to Saul. That’s a conflict of interest.

Looks like the old guard finally pulled KL down. Now all the CVS Aetna guys - junior guys in senior roles - who infested ICS will need to resign.
NM did some googling and found it...Gary Owen was hired in May 2019 and preceded Lieber. Not really a good sign to be shuffling in a new CISO on a yearly basis.

Did he even last a year? Who was the previous WF CISO?
Usually if somebody has an amicable departure from an org, there is some type of comm with the typical, "So-and-so has accepted an opportunity outside of..." or "is pursuing other opportunities" which helps the departed save face. But in the case of sudden departures or terminations, it's usually because the departed Fed up and p*ssed off the higher-ups.

Oh, not disagreeing with you on that! Sometimes it takes a little bit for all the reporting systems to sync up, especially with something as abrupt as an Emergency Termination action.

Doesn't matter if he is listed in GAL. There are clear comments on his account that show he is gone. Do not trust the GAL as a measure of whether someone is still employed here or not.
@1qiv+1cXE5vEJ If you spell his name correctly (Lieber, Kurt), you will see that he is still listed in the GAL. Still shows up on Skype without any letters in front of his last name, but is not listed in Teamworks nor on the org chart anymore.

And if you look in the same GAL you can see he isnt here anymore. Plain text, its stated with date.

It’s Kurt Lieber. SVB announced on April 16 he was new CISO. STill in global not on Teamwork’s.
Maybe you spelled his name wrong, he’s still there.
He’s not in Teamwork’s and his direct reports now report up to SVB
