Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Is there a Hike cycle this year and if it is by when should one expect a letter ?

Any idea when is the hike cycle given past 2-3 years no hikes has been there
It was told this year during march, then may be june and now Its Sep end !
If one have some insights as if if one should expect or not ?

Also given they havent given hikes from a while now should one expect a decent hike ?

No hike for me. No RSUs either. I must suck and not realize it. Guess all those 12+ hour days were non productive (they weren't). Going to give myself a raise and work normal hours now.

It’s all horse trading. I got promotion with a bump and moderate RSU and IPF of 1.2. With a high grade it’s very hard to get IPF over 1.2, since that means so much money. Thy told me they down graded the IPFbe suse they needed the money elsewhere. It’s all about the money.

Merit mostly driven by your MRR. Stock mostly driven by grade. 1.35 is above average IPF. Need more info.

Your manager can see the formal reward info today. Its in the system. They should be scheduling a time w/you to discuss. They can also email you a pdf w/the info. There are no more "webletters".

was wondering what is the IPF range ? I remember someone telling me that its 0-3 , but never saw anyone telling me that they got more than 1.5

The date is 9/23 onwards. It is possible that you won’t get a web letter. Instead you’ll get told verbally and then receive a notification from Workday that your compensation has changed.

All bundled into one event this cycle (again breaking Fran’s promise for predictable and regular cycles she gave 3-4 years back). Should start hear starting the 23rd. The web letter thing seems to not work so well with the new systems, so don’t panic if it takes a few days to hear from your manager.

If you get anything it will be 9/23. It and the P&LI should be at the same discussion. The problem is the part about "expect a hike". You shouldn't ever expect that or a bonus (hence they call it a bonus for a reason). If you get a merit increase it's because you are deserving, there is a need, AND there is budget. All 3 have to be met.
