You guys just need to take a chill pill and calm down! You think it's easy to get all these systems converted and merged in time to meet a hyper-aggressive 3-year deadline? While at the same time plotting how to make our next move up the corporate ladder AND sc--w over our employees?? Plus, on top of that, we have to figure out what to do with all this bonus money we (the two of us, not you, LOL) are about to make! Mergers aren't easy, y'all. Ge-z! Leave us alone, you peasants! Don't you have some computer thingees to fix or something??

It will be Truist less than 3 years. Then another merger (takeover) with (by) a peer (superior and better led) bank.

It’s embarrassing that almost 3 years after the MOE was announced they still haven’t reached Customer Day One.

Maybe mgt spent too much time, money, etc., in a legal fight for a stupid name.

That took, what, a year and millions .....for the name “Truist”?

I can't get online if I use the Truist site, I have to go through the old BB&T login. The bank is all over the place, They keep on lowering my ECR on my business account and tell me I need to keep more balances. I was approached by PNC, and they offered me a great ECR rate guaranteed for two years, they wanted by 2 million in my checking. I'm taking the offer, my new BSO is a condescending mo--n.

Well considering that pretty much all of the old BB&T management was pushed out the door and what was left was incompetent SunTrust management it’s no wonder why the technology is struggling. The mobile app reviews show exactly what has been going on since the merger was announced. I mean they had like a year and a half to build a new app and they failed miserably. And why did they even need to build a new app? The U app was widely liked by customers. Would have been better and probably cheaper to just rebrand that with Truist and incorporate Suntrust accounts. But that like every other boneheaded decision shows just how horrible this company has become.

The vibe between my old banking relationship at BB&T and now at Truist has changed markedly. I considered my old banking relationship at BB&T as collegial. Now, the stress/unhappiness on my Truist contacts is palpable, and I leave meetings with the odd feeling of almost being a burden to them.
The technology at BB&T was weak, but it hasn’t improved, and mistakes are being made on my account(s) that I never had to worry about before. From the outside it seems like this merger has created a struggling bank with a disengaged and unhappy workforce. I am in the process of moving my account to where one of my old BB&T contacts is now working.
