Next week (actually, this week considering what time it is and I'm still up) we'll know more about the reorg and I am a nervous wreck. I know that most likely I'll be okay but considering everything we've been through in the last few years and all the times we were blindsided when we least expected it, I can't help but worry. Hopefully, it'll turn out I was worried over nothing.

Some parts of GT are having a reorg do-over, especially parts of TechOps. It was done by amateurs and needs to be cleaned up. Good thing MD is gone. He left behind a mess and he was toxic to the org.
I guess there is another re-org? Everyone down voted my comment. I guess GT is done, maybe they're eliminating other departments and jobs?

Now you get to hurry up and wait until the next round of layoffs, where you will again be filled with anxiety as you wait for the dreaded call with your manager. If you're lucky, you won't get let go and you can do this all over again.
It sounds like you've survived the last few years of this - what will it take for you to come up with an exit plan and find a better opportunity that won't ki-l your soul? There really is a better world outside of the berm.
