I recently took a new role. The last 3 days I’ve spent about 30 mins on a BS run by someone who seems to want to talk cause they’re lonely. It took me decade plus to realize something. It you have no work to do and no one is over your shoulder, do whatever TF you want! Take this place for all you can cause you can’t the time back. I’m doing my wash and listening to a sports podcast. I’ve done errands before but man, I’m actually smiling cause I just don’t care about Oracle. I am a number and always will be. With that being said, I am done work today.

Way to go, why not? Guaranteed your manager does nothing. They only spend time on manipulating people, they don't do any actual work.
