Oracle stock dips after reporting soft FQ1 revenue

Yep. And the ship just keeps sinking.

This is what happens when you ignore your customers. Just ask Larry or Safra.

$4 billion in buybacks every quarter make the stock look like it's gaining to those who aren't paying attention. It's going up. When the money runs out, it will crash.

A while back there was something like $36 billion left, I think that was a couple of years ago. LE was buying back bit then, like 12 - 16 billion a quarter if I remember right.

Then he had only $36 billion left and started with the lower buybacks, but it's been a couple of years. A couple of years should be something like $32 billion spent.

So, anyone know how much cash Oracle is sitting on now?

The Stock has gone up 44% in the last year. Not the best example to use.

It's a ship made in LE's image. Lie, lie, lie, you've made a great model for you're underlings LE.

I laugh when I see people about 20 years older than me who can’t see outside their little box so concerned about whiners at the customer sites. I legit heard about it, knew I could do nothing and spent the rest of my day running errands. It’s over for Oracle. Has been for a while.

“Sales? Who cares about sales? Consumption is where it’s at!”

The Stock Market cares!

Treat your employees like dirt; and wonder why nobody cares about the customer. That stuff rolls downhill.
