Did you watch the video? The CDC director is clearly on video saying that evidence suggests those vaccinated do not spread Covid. This happened before summer travel began for everyone months ago.
Please use critical thinking and please get vaccinated if you are not. Just don’t be unprofessional towards those not vaccinated. They have plenty of reason to be skeptical given the evolving guidance and statements from the government.

That aside - it's been known that vaccinated people can get sick and even if they don't fully get sick, they can have the virus in their nasal/sinus cavities and spread it.
There is no black and white with this -- situations change, the virus mutates, we learn new things about what works, we learn more about people that had COVID (antibodies, long term health impacts), etc.
Yeah, she made those comments before we had Delta and back when we thought American's were sane and would all get their shots.
