I’m in retail banking and have worked throughout the whole pandemic. All you cowards complaining about coming back into the office because you are scared need to stfu and get back into the office. Back office support has been horrible, with hang ups and dogs barking or interruptions. You need to be out of the house and back into the office ASAP. It’s not fair that we have dealt with this and here you complaining you now have to commute to work. Rant over you are all pa----s. Oh no it’s delta, get vaccinated, wash your hands, wear a mask and stfu

Many of us have paid a price during the pandemic -- though it's not always obvious.
Some people have customer facing jobs, or need to be hands on with systems for support.
And some of us never need to be in an office.
Stop whinng because someone else has something you don't.
My neighbor has a new Corvette and I don't and I'm okay with that. I have a big swimming pool and he doesn't.

I am able to WFH and my husband has had to go into his “office” to service customers face to face the whole time (he’s not in banking). People should honestly be thankful to these folks who went into work while we stayed WFH.
They kept the economy going. Sure, home bound workers ordered online but SOMEONE had to stock, pick, ship and bring the goods to your door. I can tell you from my husband’s experience the people out and about are a bunch of @$$holes. Arguing about wearing masks, coughing on his staff when asked to keep socially distant or to use hand sanitizer, it’s disgusting.
So, thank you, branch and other in-person workers who made me working from home bearable. Get these holdouts vaxxed and let’s get back to business decorum and a productive routine.

That being said, we appreciate you all being at the branch. Yes, it’s a raw deal, but that’s the nature of the position.
Do some office employees need to go back in? Absolutely. Phone bankers and call center employees who directly deal with the public would be my first choice, followed by support services (QA, risk, and IT).
It’s ultimately up to leadership. They need to adhere to CDC and OSHA guidelines, though. Repopulating an office only to have to turn around and quarantine employees based on exposure and contact tracing (not to mention deep cleaning) could end up being more trouble than it’s worth.
Lol I don’t hear retail workers complaining when your benefits are subsidized by us “whiners”. You chose a position that requires customer facing interaction- most of us don’t have the same. Green doesn’t look good on you OP. Use the tuition reimbursement program to get a degree and better job.
