Automation has been here for a while now. It doesn’t work because offshore tech can’t do a clean deploy and when systems don’t work correctly neither does automation. Plus now they got rid of the people with knowledge of how to actually do things manually. Explains the disaster in tech right now in a nutshell. Emphasis on NUT.
But Charlie and his cronies will cash out and be gone after the first of the year before the inevitable fall and guess you will be left with the mess they created?
OP, there's already an ongoing thread with these figures. Can you not piggy back off of it?
By the time the restructuring is done there will be about 150K stateside employees and 50K offshore employees so they can meet the goal of 25% offshore workforce with 200K total number.
More layoffs are ahead, not just this initial chop. Automation is coming to reduce more jobs across the board.
