Anybody think that the reason they are so secretive on Cloud revenue and cloud in general is there is very little to report. They simply are cutting costs to the bone and losing good people because they’ve already realized that their “growth through acquisition” didn’t work. Simply buying all the players and trying to bolt them together doesn’t work when trying to catch the behomeths of Amazon, Google and Microsoft...not to mention Salesforce and Workday.
I think the cat is out of the bag. If they had any chance of turning it around they messed that up by chasing all the good employees away (or experienced ones into retirement). Shame. They could have had a chance if they actually treated employees with any ounce of respect the last 5 years. People did like working for them. Now, just left with the ones that didn’t grab a lifeboat out of stupidity or laziness.
Customers know it too. Why waste money this beat horse unless they too are too lazy to upgrade. By all means if going to Cloud go to a real provider.
