This ⬇️ made me laugh, but it is actually worrying:
The changes made did push me out. I know I was just a number, and I was expensive. (...) They made changes to flush people like me out. My store has had 6 people to "replace" me. The 6th person they hired just never came back from lunch yesterday. The cost to hire 6 people has too add up. A total loss of focus at the top.
This is someone’s post but I’ve seen a few more situations like this. After they cut my colleague who did a great job and was really loyal, they hired bunch people in his place and everyone ran away in very short time. Maybe they should do the math again a little more carefully to see that laying off good employees won’t bring much savings?
