Seen in another post here. I spent years thinking the same thing. Years of being at Oracle ki---d my confidence in my abilities. It affected my mental health but I didn’t realize that until I was outta there.
Improve yourself, get the word out there and you’ll be surprised at how many companies look beyond age, bc they want skills, personality and results. Companies, at least the decent ones, understand stand that 70 hours a week on a regular basis is not sustainable.
Especially now! Jobs are begging. Training is everywhere. Your age and experience are needed and wanted.
