Close Sundays to give employees time with family. Store hours 10 to 7 Mon - Sat across the board. 1 shift. Leaving when there is still some light outside will boost morale not to mention getting a day to spend with family. If they want employees to care and not have to lie on the Pulse Survey, this will help.

Better Moral = toss out RIS scores that have nothing to do with the sales staff and process, I.e. getting a low score because “VZW doesn’t sell the type of cases I like” is beyond our control and should not factor in and lower our payout. It should be removed from the equation.
Some stores close at 6 some at 7 and some at 8. Tell me how that is fair and is going to help morale?
i guess that would make sense if this company cared about their employees anymore🤷🏻♀️
The op is a lifer type that is most likely in their 30’s. Verizon retail is no longer a career type of place. It’s over man, none of those things will happen anytime soon. The last thing Verizon top brass are thinking about is giving you time with your family.
Easier fix: Quit and don't work retail
I agree with fia+1cB5qlrH . It’s sucks but I’ve already accepted that fat L I took with taking a $40,000 pay cut from them fing with our commissions throughout the years. We still get paid decently compared to other jobs. This is lowest I’ve seen morale within the Verizon culture. Nobody wants to do ST or sell sht because what use to be opportunities are now liabilities. We all just want to make it through the day without catching Covid or being scolded by Karen customers (& managers that sit on their a$$ all day) .
New uniforms and better systems would be a step in the right direction. That’s not even asking much of these corporate greedy a$$hats .
maybe an actual incentive to sell. this team comission isnt cutting it.
4 day work weeks.
This is a business. You’re obviously a millennial. Go find yourself a safe space and put yourself in a time out.
I make like $35 an hour working on Sunday's so that won’t help my morale closing on that day. I agree with one shift throughout the week. Morale boosters could also be a change in dress code, new iPads for POS that work and overhaul the RIS scoring with clarity on how it really works with proof.
