Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Put A Fork In Me

I can't stand this place anymore. I'm in various phases of the interview process, from round 1 to offer stage and nothing can happen fast enough. A day is eternity while you wait on the next steps and/or an offer to be presented. I've contemplated just quitting, and rolling the dice that one of my interviews will pan out soon, but try to hang on another day. And I and a lot of others are barely hanging on. I'm worn out, and at a point someone could offer me a seven figure job and I'm so disenfranchised with working for the man and Corporate America that it probably wouldn't intrigue me.

Anyone else feel the same? It sounds like it from some of the posts. At this point, I'd collapse (in relief) if someone called and said I was part of a layoff. It's also he-l interviewing with other employers, the hoops some make you jump through, etc just to get to an offer. Like, "Why do you want to leave WF?" questions. I want to say "Are you shi!!in me?!" Or, I want to say "Who doesn't want to leave WF right now?!" But you can't say that so you say something PC. I'm so worn out, man.

They arent whiners. They are the people of conscience at crisis.

You guys like to tell people "dont let the door hit you on the way out" but you resistant nay sayers are left with a pile of wreckage when this is over that you may not get to sort out or clean up.

You need the people who are smart enough to seize thier lives and take action. They are the ones who get things done and can adapt.

The "too scared to move" types are the melvins who desperately cling to their wells fargo staplers while mumbling until getting reorged out anyways.

I have had several interviews that went no where. Still looking around. Job searching is not for the weak.

You are not alone in feeling this way. I can’t take the stress of not knowing what’s going to happen next. Make my day by giving me a pink slip

I’m in marketing. Would love a package but everyone is so sure layoffs are over for us I have no choice but to find something else and leave.

Like you I’m interviewing and very hopeful about a couple of things, but every day I have to fight my urge to just up and quit.
