Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Is it fair to say...

That the POS 2.0 team are just dragging their knuckles at giving us a POS that actually works? Are they trying to justify their existance? Stretch every dollar allocated to them for as long as humanly possible?

How is it possible a retail store fails at doing the very thing they were designed to do?
Can't process payments
Can't order CLNRs
Can't sell accessories
Can't save ourselves from surveys because it took 45 minutes of figuring out a workaround to sell a car charger.
Can't do Sh!t about f-k

But the dude in charge of POS 2.0 has the stones to say that everything is working well and that they are getting positive feedback and the new POS has actually helped us sell more?

Biggest mistake to outsource. Someone needs to be held accountable for daily system issues.

In response to @1mxp+1c7xB34q . Retail is still profitable based on the door swings we get. The only difference is they paid us WAY more years ago to turn those “troubleshooting”, bill paying, “fix my email” customers into new lines of service and pull through. I use to eat those up back in the day because it was worth it. Since the pay sucks now, reps don’t even entertain that bull$hit. I guarantee if we went back to the old payment structure, verizon retail stores would be hella profitable.

Happy rep = happy return customers

Yes. Retail is not profitable anymore. Used to be when there was growth and buying a phone in a brick and mortar used to be a thing. Not no more!

Leadership needs to be held accountable for what they have done to our systems. Someone needs to be fired for this. Is there so little income in retail that investors wouldn't care about this going on? We walk customers daily because we can't sell. Shareholders would not tolerate it if they knew all of these details.

Most of the coding has been outsourced to you guessed it...INDIA!

You get what you pay for.
