Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Just added another training to Develop You

Email recently told us that there was ANOTHER training added to Develop You AFTER a whole slew of trainings were expectedly dumped on us these last couple of weeks. We are over 40 I am sure. Getting tired of the "new executive" trying to flex his/her muscles and believes ANOTHER training session is something they can immediately point to as "Getting the job done" to keep regulators off of his/her and WF's back. Seriously, we employees are no f'n different after we take that ADDITIONAL training session, just a little more winded and pi---d off. You know, like, had enough!

I don't get the complaining.

I had been off a week and came back to 7 training curriculum that I only caught because someone in my team sent an email about it after they saw it. I got no email notifications.

I had to take some that were obviously assigned only because our roles were retitled. New training had zero relevance to what I actually do or deal with on a day-to-day basis.

I've got nothing in our learning center. Had some at the start of July but nothing since.

I complete all the trainings on mute and just click through the pages to the answers. Totally predictable, uninformative, and non-value add!

I see only two classes. Perhaps it's LOB-specific?

If DY classes are your biggest problem, you have no problems. Can they be annoying? Sure, but it's not the end of the world. Considering that all banking employees are required to receive certain training, it's not like it's going away any time soon. Whether they come from an internal team or it's contracted out, were going to have to attend compliance training.

Management keeps spouting off about efficiency, yet everything we do keeps getting more complicated and less functional.

Supposedly the Charlie hired c suite are the reason behind the “re-imagining risk” push that was supposed to make us have fewer and simpler trainings. Haven’t seen the results yet other than format changes. Not surprised though, L&D knows they are on the chopping block and are holding onto everything they can. Charlie just wants to outsource the content and development of the courses entirely.

Does anyone know if Charlie and the rest of the C-Suite takes them? They are the ones who keep f’ing up.

Wait, you actually do the training? Just skip and answer the questions. They’re simple.

You're paid to do them so quit whining or go work flipping burgers in McDonalds where there's no training required. Ge-z.
