Will IT collect your bank info If you connect to your bank account using OXY computer?

If Oxy wanted to block this site they would. The company actually enjoys hearing what we have to say.
Why would anyone use their work computer to access this site. Occasionally checking your back or personal email on your work computer "should" not be an issue.
IT has access to everything you do on your computer but they have processes/rules to abide by to go and look at someone's bank information / browsing history / general activity.
I wouldn't worry about someone in IT looking at my stuff because 1. They can't do anything with it, they have to abide by the same code of conduct / ethics policies the rest of us do. 2. I don't think they're interested / they have better things to do.
Good point on the time matching. I often wondered about that. I guess now we will have to start doing some work on the company computers.
Theoretically, they can. Realistically, they can't.
However, one thing people on this board don't seem to realize is that if you are using an Oxy laptop to access this site, IT can easily track that, even if you are on your home network. By matching the laptop IP activity to the time of postings, they can pretty well narrow down who you are.
Feel safe behind IT’s incompetence.
Seems like the way software is these days anything can be got that you type into a keyboard. That is not just at work but everywhere. If your worried about things like bank accounts I would only use a personal device and not multiple devices. I am less worried about Oxy and more worried about the other hackers out there that can steal info anytime they please.
Everything is related to maintenance of your computer software and integrity and quality of the network. They have the ability to get a lot more related to your activities but they don’t unless there is an internal investigation that involves you or your computer.
