OMG. Are you expecting the company to hold your hand? People are catching viruses all around you and you are not being notified, so you shouldn’t expect this case to be any different.

For all you guinea pigs whom taken the vaccine, good luck and I pray nothing bad comes from the taking of the vaccine.

Nice, that's mother nature's way of forcing eliminations. Equates to more savings and better dividend. Win-win!

Privacy rules - you are not entitled to know unless you are deemed a close contact. That's ALWAYS been the policy. If a supervisor has communicated otherwise by making a general announcement to team members who have not been informed they are a close contact, they are violating privacy regulations.

I am vaccinated but I sure hope @2dvs gets the PIP. I really could care less who’s vaccinated and who’s not. Be honest, don’t suck, and don’t suck on management’s te-t — that’s all I want from my coworkers.

The company’s vaccine policy has been a joke. First unless you are vaccinated you need to be fired. The time for the anti-vaccine idiocy is over. No more vaccine secrecy policy! Everyone should be shaming the hold outs and setting a hard deadline for managers to demand compliance. Probably 80% of our people are vaccinated so we can just layoff the unvaccinated.

THE F***ING MO--N WHO SAYS THE VACCINE DOES NOT WORK IS TO STUPID TO WORK HERE ANYWAY.

We say we care about safety but yet forcing people back in the office during a pandemic... #neverforgetJune2020

@1tbw I assume that you’re trolling.

Water is wet. Sky is blue. The vaccines work. If you believe otherwise that’s your problem.

Everyone catching it now has already been vaccinated. The vaccines clearly don’t work.

@1mco Breakthrough infections are exceedingly rare and the few that do occur are mild to asymptomatic.

mRNA tech has been around for a long time. It’s safe and effective. If you don’t want a vaccine, don’t get one. I’m not paying your medical bills so I don’t care.

There are strict definitions of exposure time and distance outlined by the CDC that dictates if there is contact tracing/notification that needs to be done.

Just because you are on the same floor as someone who had COVID does not mean you should be informed per the guidelines

Vaccinated people are still getting it. in a few years we will know more about this vaccine and see what it actually does to people long term. Good luck!

My advice is to wear a mask regardless of what our colleagues are doing.

https://www.cnn.com/2021/07/29/politics/cdc-masks-covid-19-infections/index.html

Washington (CNN)The Delta coronavirus variant surging across the US appears to cause more severe illness and spreads as easily as chickenpox, according to an internal document from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The document -- a slide presentation -- outlines unpublished data that shows fully vaccinated people might spread the Delta variant at the same rate as unvaccinated people.

A federal health official told the newspaper that the data, which is expected to be released Friday, played a large role in the CDC's updated mask guidance, which recommends that fully vaccinated people wear masks indoors when in areas with "substantial" and "high" transmission.

I think they only notify "close contacts" of the person with covid. That's anyone they were in close proximity with for 15 min or more. And only for the 2 days prior to them showing symptoms. Not a great method.

This is the company where zombie supervisors, managers and VPs wouldn’t stop touting how safety was everything and couldn’t stop chiding about handrail holding. Completely corrupt company. I wish someone goes and slaps all these leader last for everything fake they did.
