Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Lack of staffing: big saving or a big loss?

The staggering amount of money Lowe's is losing due to lack of staffing far, FAR, F-A-R exceeds the pittince they are saving on payroll. I am heartbroken to see the company that I devoted more than a decade of my life to going down in flames like this but it just isn't worth it any more. The job market is great right now and there is absolutely no reason to stay with any company that treats their employees (and customers) like this.

That's it! And I think the company loses a lot more than it saves because of lack of staffing?

The corporate big shots are only looking at their "bone us". If they can give themselves a 12million pay increase, they it's worth it to fu-k over every employee. Welcome to end stage capitalism.

The powers that be are too stupid to realize this. The more they cut staff and overcharge customers the quicker the demise of Lowe's will be. I give it a couple more months and when the winter comes, Lowe's stock will drop by 30%.

I left after 25 years. Have a much better job with better pay. My new job requires me to go to either Lowe's or HD to buy supplies. The local HD is so much cleaner, well stocked, with plenty of people to help. AND cheaper.
