I applied for a job had interviews, HM said he will create offer a week ago, not the application status says Under Consideration. Any idea what this status means. Also the req. is not closed it’s visible.

Is this like worrying if you can get into the kamikaze training school?
Applicant mistreatment. No communications or updates. you think this is a good start to an employer-employee relationship?
Here’s what you want:
Applied for a job at a cloud company that was top of my list. Lots of folks want to work there, and it took a while to get their attention bc I had no inside contacts.
Got a callback and an interview. It went very well, great discussion, lots of good feedback. But another candidate edged me out.
I was of course disappointed, but the company recruiter was great. They kept in touch with me over the ensuing months until another req opened up on the same dept.
Went back for another interview which was basically a lovefest, was told to anticipate an offer and heard back from the recruiter with said offer before I arrived home.
THAT is how you handle candidates without keeping them in the dark and respecting them as people.
PS. Oracle fell of my list years ago. So many other companies are doing better, more interesting tech, and they treat their employees humanely.
You don’t want to work for Oracle. Oracle is a waste of your time.
