Just want to thank Verizon for declaring dividends and any stock owned by end of business on 07/07/2021 receives a payment of .6275 per share.
The EX date is 07/08/2021 that just tells the well informed you do not receive the dividend if you buy it today.
So thanks Verizon I look forward to another roughly $4400 on August 2, 2021

Glad to hear that you are a VZ shareholder and enjoy the dividends, but why do you feel the need to come on this board every few weeks?
Everyone gets that dividends are nice, but VZ doesn't have the highest dividend, nor the highest potential for stock price growth. The S&P 500 grew about 40% last year. Had you placed your savings in an index tracking fund, you'd have even more $$.
You might want to hire a financial planner who is also a fiduciary to help you make better financial decisions. Having elected to invest your 401k in the VZ stock option was one of the poorest performing returns over the last 5 years was not the wisest decision. Even with your dividends, you keep touting, your ROI perforemd far worse than almost all of your other choices. Not sure why you keep pumping VZ stock but it is going nowhere soon. It is good hedge against a Biden market crash but that is about it. Hopefully others do their own DD before making the same mistakes you have made. Do some simple math and figure out how much gain you lost in exchange for your $4400 dividend.
