Got let go after 16+ years here in Southern California back in February. Took my severance and I was in fear because Verizon was all that I knew. Got hired by Att’s IHX position and I couldn’t be happier months in. Company car 4 weeks vacation 8-5 and no cap commission. It’s like the old tablet days before windfall.

Ihx does not have a union. They will can you quick. Layoff or being fired. Ihx is a very bad joke
ATT’s IHX is Verizon’s version of R2B. Why is there a need? Their installers hate those guys. It messes with the install guys ratings and time. ATT was using those positions and organization to get peeps and Mgrs out of corporate retail when closing or converting stores to agents. Like R2B, ATT will pull the plug any minute.
Yeah but that position is going to be the first one to go if they start with layoffs. I looked into going there but was told by someone at att, that was a bad move. Good luck though I hope it doesn’t go away.
Sorry bub, but the grass ain't greener at AT&T. Just look at their layoff board. I would get out of Telco entirely.
When I leave Verizon I will surely come back on here and promote leaving this s hit show of a company. People need to read that there are better opportunities out there and people are successful finding new jobs.
Then why are you on a Verizon message board talking about Verizon.
Plus they have UNION so.....no BS, straight up work, do great at what u do & go home. Happy for ya👍
