Any truth to this or is this a rumor…by sept they will be letting go of most if not all full timers?
I can see this being done…my store has been hiring part timers like crazy!

A trolling we will go
A trolling we will go
We never bought a My Pillow
But a trolling we will go
Mutley…how do you know many full timers will go? And the 130-140 store closures is that on top of the 200 they said last year?
It is going to happen, many FT will go and another 130-140 stores set to close ASAP.
I am still trying to figure out how this company keeps id--t managers and had let go of so many full timers who knew the products, who set up displays, who are so very customer friendly, customers who knew there was someone to assist when needed. I needed to get some products from the drapery department. The manager didn't know what I was talking about. He called a former employee who knew right away what I wanted. I had to go to a hardware store to get the merchandise. The CEO needs to have his head examined and hire back those persons at whatever the cost, and get rid of that deadhead manager.
I do what? Do you mean "I am?"
I wish they’d get rid of Gary.
God help you all if the FTs I knew become managers. They cannot find their as--s with their hands.
I think it's USC and not UCS. My condolences for working for Bloodbath, however.
"So many people on here think they are Business Analysts when in reality they are a cashier."
I actually do. UCS grad here used to work for the company. Son still works part time while attending UCLA. A simple search on the company will show you how much cash flow they have and market value based on current trends excluding meme stock spikes.

"Monrovia, CA is supposed to close too."
Monrovia closed the moment it open it doors on day 1.
Many stores out there should have never open. Should have focus on the core anchor stores rather than expanding with no sense of direction.
"...but talent without training is nothing." Luke Skywalker
The company expanded and bought random companies without knowing what to do with them. It's why we are in this situation.
Get rid of the awful Mgr #51
Check it out ridiculous
"Circuit City stores were going thru remodels also. They closed"
Bed Bath and Beyond has its cash flow CC did not. Not a huge cash flow but enough to get the turn around moving forward. The next 2 years are crucial for the company.
Full timers will all be managers - in name and workload, but not compensation.
It's the future of all retail. Part time, open availability' and no benefits. All retail is doing it. Either accept it or find another career. I found another career.
Monrovia, CA is supposed to close too.
Circuit City stores were going thru remodels also. They closed
Southside location is going thru a remodel right now. Not closing
Was told that either St Augustine Fl or Southside location in Jacksonville closing. Gary was heard talking about this last week.
Heard Daytona Beach store is closing.
It's another rumor as usual.
Keyholders will be the only full timers very soon.
