Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Did you all hear about all the people laid off in the BGCO? I don’t know all the details, but much of SLC was let go. I believe it was all of Fulfillment, Phone Support and GCO. It doesn’t appear that GEA’s or Tech was impacted, which is odd considering the lack of talent in management in both groups. It doesn’t surprise me though. Verizon doesn’t care about the economy or the American people. It only cares about filling the Execs pockets. When the American people need one of America’s largest corporations to step up, what do they do? They tell more employees we don’t care about you and to F off! I’ll be quitting soon. I’m so sick of this toxic pos company. I believe they are nearly 80% outsourced on both consumer and business. F’ng ridiculous! I already moved my lines to T Mobile. I’m not staying with a company that is literally and has been falling apart for too long now. Why would I keep using Verizon after knowing how poorly it’s ran. Third round interview today and from what I’m hearing it’s a job offer. So bye bye Verizon! Idk how anyone continues to work for this company. I guess you all are too scared and too lazy to move on.
