I'm not sure how anybody working here can remain normal. Every day we need to deal with uncertainty, unnecessary stress, an increasingly toxic work atmosphere, office politics, and so many more things. Sometimes I feel that quitting and dealing with being unemployed for a while would be the preferable version.

Anyone that wasn't remote throughout the pandemic knows how thankless it was.
It's a horrible culture now. Remote work has destroyed teamwork and caused untold amounts of mental illness due to the isolation.
Plenty of 55-58 Pratt folks doing just as good.
People were saying that back in the 90's. I worked in E Hartford for 3 years starting in 1995 and quickly came to the conclusion that I needed to go elsewhere. For a young professional looking to advance and make a better life, it became very obvious that I needed to go elsewhere, which I did in 1998. Fast forward to 2021, I am in Texas and am now financially independent at 56, something that would never have been possible if I stayed at PW in Connecticut.
Most people are remit and not doing much
what toxic atmosphere, office politics? most people are remote, yeah business environment is tight, but plenty of capable people find new opportunities elsewhere.
