Hows this going to affect our stores?

Hire them for three months so when they leave the company, we are stuck with all the escalations from customers figuring out that they were quoted wrong.
If the seasonal job is for door greeting and inventory stuff then I can see a tie in to a reduction in SM’s. It could be a test to audit the productivity of the SM’s since that is certainly going to drop. Reps are about to be assigned keys and codes with more self empowerment without having to deal with a manager. I can see the 1 GM 1 SM rumor completely making sense now.
Weird that verizon seems to be doing a lot of the same things we have already tried many years ago. I hope it works out, but I hope history doesn’t repeat itself.
It does not take 3 months to prep a door greeter and someone who will help put up backstock. The SM’s are making too much money greeting all day long so it makes sense.
You'll be held to their surveys and escalations as a peer lololol
Lol. Used to hire Temps years ago. They were completely useless. Used them as greeters (even that was a bad idea) . Then were told we cannot use them as greeters. So I told leadership we didn't need them. Really burst their bubble. They thought they had the best idea ever. Looks like they still do..
Another horrid idea... takes 3 months to be even competent at this job.. not sure what we consider the "season" but it'll just be someone to try to train during the busiest time of year that'll be gone just after they actually become useful... this ain't UPS or walmart.. seasonal is a sh-t idea
