"Out of the 4 part-timers we have, all of them had zero interest in moving to full time. When asked why not, they specifically said they already work 40 hours and theirs no incentive to change. I completely agreed with them... so sad"

CLEARLY THESE PART TIME EMPLOYEES YOU SPEAK OF AREN'T WORKING WITH A FULL DECK IF THEY THINK IT'S BETTER TO STAY PART TIME (LOSING VACATION PAY AND COMMISSION) AND WORK 40 HOURS THAN GO FULL TIME AND WORK THE SAME HOURS.

We have had pt positions posted for months, not one person has applied. Who in their right mind would?

You took the 24/32 option, but they can still ask you to work up to 40 hours per week based on the needs of the business.

Confirmed ! Stores that are understaffed have started to allow part timers to go to 40 hour full time. Talk about back peddling Verizon was not prepared on how understaffed all these stores are. It’s going to get worse in the next few months as plenty of reps leave to take new jobs. I know of four in my district alone. The 24/32 part time initiative is a big failure.
