Wells Fargo Moving Past “Knock-On Effects” of Bank Scandal, Looks to Go on Offense

A few thoughts:

Charlie likes to share more information at conferences than he does with his own employees.

Looks like we’re heading back to cross-selling for corporate profits, rather than focusing on what’s best for our clients. I have no doubt that it will be a high pressure environment. Wells Fargo goes overboard on everything (e.g. Diversity). Also, our FAs do not like having to refer their clients to the bank side, for multiple reasons. This could increase their exodus.

I read another headline from the The Business Journals, which I don’t have access to: “Wells Fargo CEO signals big changes ahead for mobile banking and credit cards.” I have not heard anything about this through corporation channels either.

What the heck does it even mean? As in... Wells will accelerate opening more fake accounts than before?

I did read that as well, but they’ve been trying every which way to get it going both ways for years. My trust level is low, which I’m sure most would understand,

Actually, they're looking to cross sell more tye other direction. Provide wealth services to the bank's affluent clients. Good work on trying to spin it in a negative light.
