Just a question on if this is happening everywhere as I've caught wind it is here.
Not sure if this is some slow roll of the multistore gms ....but essentially what I'm hearing is:
2 gms
However many SMs as normal
2 stores basically combined into 1 store commissions.
Each stores new lines, bucket, and ris affect each other.
Just an interesting thing I'm hearing. Not sure if it's a trial or what this is.
So far it has been a disaster going back and forth, people going to wrong stores, short staffing, 1 less manager. I don’t see how this change helped anyone.
I will say again the multi store thing is temporary in my opinion. My theory is that it is a cost cutting transition to mass store closures or indirect migration.
Working in a multi-store is draining. We are doing more work and constantly having to look at the schedule to make sure it wasnt changed the day before to make sure your at the correct store. GMs really have a reason to disappear for a few hours while traveling between stores to take a “call”.
See I've heard that the dual stores are actively looked at as being a massive failure
All stores will go to this set up soon. As long as you have a partner store within a certain number of miles you will become part of the unfortunate. It takes any remaining energy out of your workweek. Another horrible idea sponsored by the corporate elite. I can't wait to start pedaling home internet too!
Store I was in is a multistore set up.
1 GM for both stores. 2 SMs each (for now), then however many SS. SS can be worked in either store.
Stores share a quota and RIS numbers. This is no rumor. Our store has known about this since the big layoff earlier this year.
It was started officially on June 1st
It sounds like it's the multistore after all. The rep who was sharing this information just didn't share the whole picture.

My store is part of a multi store. Commissions didn’t update as of the 2nd. But both store will contribute to total team quota

Yea this was the whole concept of a multi store. It just started this month but they have made it known for a while now. We will see how it all works out.
