First year analysts will be making 100k a year. Any news on adjusting current employee salaries?
I was working on selecting my 2022 benefits and when I selected my life term insurance, I noticed my salary for 2022 was $40k more than what I make now. I usually select 2x my base salary and was increasing it to 3x my base salary when I noticed how much the insurance was, so I clicked on my annual salary tab and noticed the huge increase in base pay. As I understand, term life insurance is calculated by base pay, not including bonus. So I’m eager for 2022 to see if I actually get a raise. Or maybe it’s just a mistake. I was recently hired and took a low offer just to get the job. Maybe they are worried I’ll jump ship and are increasing my base pay.
unfortunately companies will never pay your fair market value voluntarily. This is why you many people change jobs/companies every 2-5 years. My first job i stayed with them for 8 years till I decided to look around and every single offer i had was 30k more..... Wasted so many years being paid like a grunt.
Nope, but this should help when I go talk to my manager and senior managers about why I'm underpaid and brand new analysts are getting paid more than I am fresh out of college.
Bruh! The amount of work my group is getting is piling up. We can't keep our heads above water. But no raises in sight. My job title/salary is not aligned with the work I'm actually doing. Went back to the office on July 12. And thought the office would have more people. Nope. Empty offices.
Your CEO just got a $50 million dollar bonus just for agreeing to stay as J.P. Morgan CEO.
Sh!ts effed up.
Raises? Thanks to China and the virus they released we're all likely getting laid off soon. Market was better in Feb.
It’s all about location and inflation.
