My job is to not make you look good to your boss!!
I come in to make a paycheck for me
And my family, not to hit a stupid metric that your director put you in charge of
Stop micro managing us to death and stop with your stupid scare tactics…

All district managers are useless...I know they read this because they are all insecure so let me ask you DM's a question , what exactly do you do?
Mine shows up and plays buddy buddy with all the reps, pretends to know how to floor manage but little does he know that 90% of the reps in our district have zero....ZERO respect for him.
Micro manages!!
“A poor manager will micro-manage his or her team. They will see only one way to accomplish a task and will not value the input of others. Team members are not encouraged to grow, mistakes are frowned upon and unless a task is completed exactly as the manager wants it completed (even if completion in another manner achieves a positive outcome) the manager won’t recognize the success"
“Bad managers fail to give their team personal independence. They over-delegate and over-assign. Employees who feel they don’t have freedom will become disillusioned and frustrated.”
“Controlling your team in minute detail is a terrible trait for a manager. You should hire a team you trust to do the work and give them the freedom to carry it out. Micromanaging leads to a lack of motivation and creativity!”
“Treating employees like school children is a surefire way to demotivate your team. The best way to avoid micromanagement is to set up clear KPIs.. If your team is consistently hitting their numbers, there’s no reason to monitor/manage how they get things done. For example, if your sales employees are consistently hitting their goals, there’s no reason to monitor their customer communications or make a big fuss about what time they come into work and leave each day.”
If you are reading this and are saying to your self that any of these examples are you than you are a sh---y manager and you need to start thinking for yourself and stop letting your director control you
It's rough having to push bu-----t like credit cards, home warranty's and now one option for over priced insurance. Only because most of our check comes from customer surveys. Is the company really that naïve that the only reason that 98% of all HUMs were sold was because they were slammed? If we are paid on RIS we aren't slamming useless products that people don't need or want. Sure We might offer it but that's as far as it will get. You have one side of the company saying that customers and their satisfaction is the most important thing, Then you have this chain of Directors, DMs and GMs all harping down the circle jerk about metrics stuck in their old ways.
Just clerk everything and QoS stays normal. They can't just fire you for numbers. The objectives on our end of year review are vastly different then the QoS dashboard. QoS only update every 1.5 weeks. You going to hold me accountable to some shadow statistics and reporting that even you don't truly understand. Also the report is flawed because ever single transaction that generates and order number goes in to your pool of transactions. Sim change? better hope you add a phone line on to the account with insurance and a pull though item, don't for get $500 of accessories. If not then your targets all just went down in each QoS category. If they try to put you on any sort of action plan or even if you're falling to the fear tactics of management brought down from the top who are missing the message. Don't sign or agree to anything and contact HR. What is the worst that happens? You get fired and get unemployment or find a better job lol.
Real note we are seemingly going to be rolling/operating like this until end of year at min. Good look with your McHires and hopefully you get out sooner then later.
Someone explain to this entitled clown how a job works.
