Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

No breaks?

After working here for a long time without taking breaks and thus allowing Verizon to exhaust me both mentally and physically, I started sending applications and got a new job in record time, long before I had hoped. I don't understand now why I haven’t done this before. It is unacceptable that employees do not have time to take a break.

Well, it happened again. Our Gm was off yesterday, So,an SM( glorified do nothing door greeter) left at 2pm with 30 mins wait times? He arrived at 930am,so how is he making up the 4 hours left in his shift? A rep asked" where is so and so"? A rep shouted " he left along time ago " This after the guy had Saturday and Sunday off? The other Sm takes and manipulate their work time also. How can this be positive for store morale? When everyone see whats giving on in plain site. Compliance hot line s or a call ti the never seen DM? ( By the way this is happening quite a bit.

It’s your own fault for not taking a break. That was a choice you made. You are allowed a break
