I’ve been with a GBU for some years. What I have noticed is that as we have acquired companies, that company becomes the prettiest girl in the class. I’ve watched people land mgmt jobs (all levels) who should not only not be managing; they can’t even do the jobs of the people they manage. Like they seem like they asked these acquired companies “what would you like to be at Oracle?” The morale in my GBU is at an all time low. People are either snorting Kool Aid or working very little while looking for a new job.

There are multiple GBU's (8 or 9 I think) and I know people still are on the payroll - whether they're working or not is the question. The Hospitality GBU is barely functioning and Oracle keeps pumping money to keep it alive, they should have spun it off years ago. Now year 8 of no one being integrated and a bunch of yahoos in management - some from the original a**hats that came over with micros. Why do we let them continue to ignore all the Oracle rules and approvals???? No one seems to care what goes on or how many customers complain about being forced to the cloud with asinine credits for stuff they dont' want to buy.
Apparently no one works at the GBU. Perhaps if you asked who is employes?
