What's better/ worse at GEICO?

Here I saw someone encouraging people to go to GEICO. My colleague got an offer there, but in the end he went to another company. The reason is that he didn't think it was much better there. On the other hand, I am convinced that this company values employees much more than this one here.
However, there are problems in every company and now I am interested in those with real experience at GEICO to make a comparison - what is better there, and what is perhaps worse than SF? The reason I ask is because I want to try to get a job there.

I don't know the details but Geico has not been a recommended destination. This is coming from claim adjusters and pu--c adjusters. Some of the recommended names have been: Chubbs, Farmers, Mercury, Progressive. Before you jump ship, make sure you network around and tal to people that are in the role you are applying for. I was interested an SIU position with USAA, so I network with my SIU contacts and was able to obtain contact for an USAA SIU rep. I learned that USAA SIU is just as bad as SF, understaffed, 2 weeks behind workload, can't take vacation for over a year, exclusive virtual investigation which is difficult. I did not apply for USAA. Spoke with another former SIU peer now working on investigation for government position, he loves it and working condition and work load were at a good pace. I applied and accepted an offer with the same government agency, and will be starting nexr month. My point is do your research before jumping ship because you don't want to jump from a frying pan into the fire. I know SF blows, but make your exit a strategic and methodical one.

Just go to the GEICO section of this website and see how active it is versus the SF section.
That should tell you everything you need to know.
