It is hilarious to me that Oracle is gaining any ground on anybody simply because the culture is so anti-employee. I realize there are other companies that are the same, but not the ones that need to innovate and gain market share (or keep it) in the tech space.
In Support bonuses were knocked out years ago. There hasn't been a salary increase in 3+ years and prior to that it was only every 3 years in 3% range for TOP performers. Developers are jumping ship. Employees are jumping ship in Legacy (DB/EBS) and Fusion simply because why stay if there is nothing to motivate you at all. The reality is anybody worth their salt left months or years ago. Now any and all of the remaining development or support talent will leave as well. Oracle will go back into its normal default mode "damage control."
Time to get my pinset and Safra Catz voodoo doll out.
