Se-y.
I was in leadership for over 20 years before transitioning back to a Prof/Tech role for the next 3 years to retire. Frankly I got tired of dealing with the employees. Every day listening to constant excuses, asking me how to do their job, 1x1s, EOM, lazy, and frankly most were just d-mb. There were some folks I loved working with but most needed constant hand holding and baby sitting. Couldn't fill out their timecards, wouldn't submit T2 correctly, god forbid they check a resource before asking me what to do, and just tons of drama in their lives. Kids, baby momma/daddy drama, emotional issues, migraines, divorces, money issues, dog is sick, ADA, ohh..sorry I forgot excuses....and just on and on...drama. So with all that said, TMs, SMs, CMs and even the VPs really have NO and I mean NOOOOO decision making ability or influence on the decisions made by Tipsy, Smith, Yi, Rand....etc... I will be right "behind" you when you call them up and give them a piece of your mind.....as they walk your d-mba-s out the door. Id--ts... this company is pure sh-t for sure... and the upper leadership is a joke. They could care less about employees and/or what you think of them, this thing is running exactly to plan, employees are a disposable resource, period! Get over it! I had to listen to employee after employee bit-ch about this every day and I would say, you probably need to go find another job because it is not going to change, or just deal with it and do what is asked of you.... If you need to be "led" to do your job... then you probably need to look in the mirror and see who the mo--n is!
