Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Slumlord Business

If we compare Verizon to a rent controlled apartment building, their treatment of their employees would be strangely familiar to the way that slumlord landlord treat people they want out of the apartment. They make it miserable to stay, turn off heat don’t fix broken stuff, is not that different from lowering or pay drastically, and understaffing the stores terribly. Why is it illegal to do it as a landlord, but perfectly sound business for Verizon. Oh yeah they are still making billions. I wish a government agency would investigate there business practices in this situation. But they are bought and paid for so good luck with that.

Bro, I went into a 7-11 and the cashier saw my uniform and kind of smirked under his breath and said “so you work for verizon, you couldn’t pay me enough to deal with that $hit” 😂😂

The freakin 7-11 employee doesn’t even want to work here 🤦🏼‍♂️
