My store has 4 openings but no one applying. Other retail stores are the same way. It's not just Verizon. When is this going to change.

If you want people to sell, PAY them to sell. The retail communist commission structure does nothing but ensure every sales rep will do the bare minimum, and I don’t blame them whatsoever. It’s mind blowing how incompetent Hans and his cronies really are. Not sure why anyone would willingly enter the retail side of the business given the pay structure and culture of that channel. It’s pathetic
My local McDonald's is now starting $19.50/hr full time
Less stress than any Verizon job at a couple bucks less.

As a former INDIRECT RETAIL MANAGER I can only laugh at the way we used to laugh at the staff at a "Indirect store"
they were regarded as well LOSERS and well second class as they only "Resold Verizon"

No one wants a mentally abusive retail cell phone shop job its trash. dealing with disease ridden obnoxious and d-mb customers. Hard pass.

when you can have franchises paying people pennies to dollars in corporate stores well good luck selling those phones .
I had qualified people apply and even sent emails of recommendation. No one heard anything. I didnt even get an email back saying I will check it out.
I’d only come.back if they offered pre-teamselling compensation. But then how would Hans and his hit squad get their bonuses.
When the government stops paying exasperated unemployment benefits and when people who work for VZ tell people it’s an amazing job. I’m sure neither will happen anytime soon. It’s sad, because I’m afraid neither will come soon.
