Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Corporate stores hiring temp agents

We have corporate stores hiring temp agents at rock bottom wages with people who want to do the job surprising less than we do in the retail environment, that's a feat. Imagine being so worthless at making an effort to hire talent that you'd rather act like you're trying and hire slag. Verizon will continue to glorify the side hustle when we just want a liveable wage again and incentive to work like sales people need. Why the fu-k am I going to push upgrades when they do not pay me. Think about it. These people can't hold down minimum wage jobs and here they are being temped in like indirect retail s**t locations.

If they just gave incentives to do our job instead of a stacked deck of unreachable quotas then maybe we'd be driving customer retention. I've had 3 commission checks this year within 10 cents of each other. Somehow every month we get a flush of surveys right at the end if we're going to go over with multipliers, think about it. When a customer says they want to leave, I smile and hand them their account number and pin.

Verizon doesn't want me to make money, then I want them to bleed money too. Keep paying the people that only show face on bluejeans the wages that the salespeople should be making because they help fill our "diversified" workplace.

How the mighty have fallen, welcome to Sprint 2.0. Maybe we can get Paul Marcarelli to speak for us. Higher ups, can you hear us yet?

Wanna see the store flow get messed up? Put a director or ops person at the door greeting customer and managing the flow. But you want a part time person to filter the trouble shooting and set the reps up for success or give digital options that customers will buy in to?? Another d-mb decision stacked on the last part time decision. How about letting the business reps and ops geniuses back in and let them help. Maybe they can do sim card changes and pack ispu orders. How do 5 day a week calls impact the store? This company has more calls then productivity. I say ban calls for a month and see were we get!!!! We would find out what who does work and who runs from work. If calls create your value then you are worthless. Period.

With smaller staff we should still be appointment only

This is just more proof that this company doesn't give a sh-t about anyone but themselves.

Stores are short staff and you announced “doors are open, come on in”

You don't care about your frontline employees and you obviously dont care about customers !!

If you're getting bad surveys, I have found success using something similar to this talk track:

I know Mr. Customer, I know how you feel and I am so sorry this is taking so long. Unfortunately my company doesn't want to provide their employees with the necessary and properly functioning tools to do their jobs to the best of their abilities so that they can pay us less. That being said, there's a chance that you'll receive a survey about this experience and anything less than a 10 allows vz to take money out of our paychecks. So yes, I will put on your screen protector and if you need help transferring data, I can make time for that regardless of all the other people waiting.

If my company doesn't want to work hard for me then I won't work hard for them and I'll find a way to cheat my money back while making them look like the villains in this shitshow.

The gamer thing is so stupid because most days I don't even see anybody under the age of 65 come into the store

Thank Lord Hans and Queen KB that we have more talentless bodies in store before our big shopping seasons. Can't wait to see the credit halt towards customers that get fu---d by these temp dummies. Keep turning up the heat and we'll keep giving customers a reason to leave.
